About the speakers
Sandra Barclay and Jean Pierre Crousse are architects and masters in Landscape and Territory, with outstanding international academic and professional careers. They both teach at PUCP and are visiting professors at Yale and Harvard. They have received honorary degrees and international awards, such as Barclay's “Women in Architecture 2018,” while Crousse earned honorary distinctions from the French Academy of Architecture. In 1994, they founded the firm Barclay & Crousse, based in Lima since 2006. The firm’s work has been recognized by institutions such as the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize, the Oscar Niemeyer Award, and the CICA, and exhibited at prestigious events such as the Venice Biennale.
