Director of Research at the School of Architecture, Art, and Design of Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico). He teaches and researches subjects related to social architecture. In 2020, Springer published his book “The Co-Housing Phenomenon: Environmental Alliance in Times of Change,” which won the Rómulo Garza Prize for research and innovation. In 2022, he published the book “Design for Vulnerable Communities.” He currently coordinates four research projects, including “Design for Vulnerables – Technology Challenge,” which focuses on defining design processes to facilitate the introduction of technologies in vulnerable communities. He is a member of the National System of Researchers (Level 1) and serves on several editorial boards and academic associations.
